Furniture

During storage and transportation, furniture faces multiple moisture-related threats. For instance, during sea freight, "container rain" may cause wooden furniture to warp, metal components to rust, and fabric upholstery to mildew. Damp conditions also accelerate the delamination of plywood, while padding materials can foster bacterial growth and unpleasant odors. Poor ventilation may further lead to rusting of hardware on wooden furniture. Even during short-distance transport, painted surfaces may develop blisters.

Moisture Issues: deformation, warping, metal rusting, bubbles, mold on the leather and fabric surfaces
